What the checker compares
- Your monthly income, converted to euros with the ECB reference rates of 3 November 2026, against the minimum each government asks for.
- The extra income some countries require for a partner or children, such as Spain, Cyprus, Croatia and Costa Rica.
- Savings, for visas that accept a bank balance instead of income (Brazil) or ask for one (Thailand).
South Korea sets its threshold by age and place of residence, so it appears under its own heading when your income falls between the lowest and highest tier. Each result links to the country page and to the government page it comes from.
